Due to unforseen circumstances (read: my sister failing to relay information to me) 7LX, the Qi Li Xiang album fanlisting has moved to the LOVEppears.net domain. With that, I decided that this was a good opportunity to change the layout, so there's a new Jay layout up at it's new location: http://www.loveppears.net/jasmine

I've also updated MELODEA with the complete information on Mai's upcoming single "Kakegae no Nai Hito e," including the tracklisting and single cover. There's also previews up on Mai's official website, the b-side sounds especially promising ♥

I applied for the Hoshimura Mai fanlisting not too long ago and was approved in the past few days. I got the site up fairly quickly so there still may be a few things to work out but with that, I would like to introduce the latest addition to the network: Piano Girl! Piano Rock!

If you're a fan of Mai why not join? and if you're none too familiar, check out MELODEA for more information and samples (though I'd imagine that if you're familiar with the network you've already been...)

I've done the main network maintenance work, added the site under fanlistings, and I've also moved RicePaper to frozen. Due to a number of things I simply haven't been making wallpapers recently, though that doesn't mean I won't in the future.

Just a quick update at MELODEA. Mai has a new single planned for release at the end of May, "Shunkan, STROBE." It's been described as a love song and will be used as the ending theme for a popular love variety show called, "Koi Suru Hanikami," which Mai's cover of "plastic love," was also once used as a theme.

I've also updated the music section with a new rotation of songs to sample, with "Sakura Biyori" and two b-sides ("Your Dream" and "M&M") that weren't included on her albums.

What's New in 2007?

Well, if you've visited the Network recently, you may have noticed a new layout. I put it up around early January, failed to mention it though since the sites within the network itself have admittedly been fairly neglected recently, my bad.

Version six of the LOVEppears Network "foire aux vanities," features the lovely Jolin Tsai. Other than the vistors page, which I have to figure out a few things for, everything should be fine :)

I've also recently converted all the fanlistings over to Enthusiast, which means they've all been updated, yes, even Oujisama, which has recently passed the 1500 member mark! Now that the fanlistings have been converted it should be a lot easier for me to keep them updated and whatnot, well I'll do my best! ^^;

Moreover, I've updated MELODEA, adding the information about Mai's latest single "Sakura Biyori" to the Discography, and uploaded the PV for it to the Clips section. I'll update the Music section once I figure out how to use radio.blog on a MAC now that my PC is being useless.

I've also changed the layout at this here update journal, also featuring Miss Cai Yi Lin~

A modest welcome to the latest addition of the LOVEppears Network is the TFL-Approved fanlisting for the high-spirited Johnny's Entertainment group, V6: AI NANDA!

Admittedly, I was in a rush when I made the fanlisting so the layout's a little (read: a lot) wonky, I'll be tweaking it over the weeks and gradually (read: taking my sweet time) adding more to fill it out as a sort of fansite/fanlisting. So, if you're a fan of this wonderful and energetic group, please go on and join :)

I also updated the members page over at Nori-Nori. There's been seven new members to the rotation since my last update, Wish, Perfect Bliss, Deafening, 5 cm, Wonderland, Cozy in the Rocket, and Kuroi Niji.

I really want to update SOYASound, but I'm lazy :3 So here's an awesome song from Nan Quan Mama's latest album, Li Hia Bu Yuan (save target as...)

I know, I haven't updated in months, and I apologize, though I have made small updates without posting about them, primarily member updates within the fanlistings and Nori-Nori. I'll post about the new additions to the rotation once I update the members page there.

One site has received a fairly large facelift recently, it's been up for a while, but I've finished most of what I had planned. There's still some sections I have left to do, but I'll be completing them slowly, so here it is, a brand new layout over at MELODEA

New sections include an expanded profile and discography, a deeper look at Mai's name, as well as the lyrics and translations for the songs off Mai's second album. There's also information on the first-press bonuses included with Mai's releases, LiveJournal and Buddy icons, with screen captures and promotional video information planned for the future.

I'll probably be doing more later on this week, maybe, possibly, an update at RicePaper, I say that all the time though xD

So, what has been occupying my time this summer? I've been sucked back into the world of online Trading Card Games, particularly La Musica, who has a plethora of different music artists featured on their site, so please check it out!

Yes, after nearly ten months of Namie, I've changed the layout at the main network to a brand-new one featuring the very lovely BONNIE PINK. I was really just shocked at how long the Namie layout had been up, so I got started on the Bonnie layout right away :) There's nothing really new content-wise; however, I am very pleased to announce that we have a new affiliate!

The LOVEppears Network is now affiliated with no-needs.net!

Also! I've updated Nori-Nori with an updated list of members in the button exchange. The latest members include Merry-Go-Round, Bluenotes, Asian Rock Planet.

Oujisama was also recently awarded by AnimeFanlistings.ORG for having 1000+ members!

The JJ layout I'm working on for SOYASound is also coming along slowly...

Um. Long time no update ^^; What can I say? Lots of papers to deal with, désolé.

The most notable update is the new addition of 7LX, a fanlisting dedicated to Jay Chou's Qi Li Xiang. It's hosted on my sister's domain; I thought it'd be appropriate considering her domain is named after a Jay Chou song as well. The layout's a lot stuffier than I would have liked but I'm over it- it's Jay, therefore it is automatically spiffy.

Boys&Girls, the LOVEppears fanlisting, is also now affiliated with the Hamasaki Ayumi remixes fanlisting, the Fly high fanlisting, and most recently, the TO BE fanlisting.

In other totally exciting news, Jones Shi recently endorsed firelight on the JonesCN.com message boards. You can see a screencap of the message here (and my psycho fangirl reaction here)! Since Jones' little promotion, firelight has exploded to over 90 members and is well on its way to 100+ :)

As for future plans post-exams (read: procrastination from studying for exams) for the network, there are plans for a new layout at the main collective, possibly featuring the lovely BONNIE PINK, as well as a new layout + expansion for SOYASound, possibly featuring JJ Lin, plus a bunch of other crap I've said that I'll do in past updates...

I'm totally on a Jay Chou kick. Rawr.

Boys&Girls, the LOVEppears fanlisting, has received a much-needed layout change and is currently looking to affiliate with other Hamasaki Ayumi-related fanlistings.

I'm also very pleased to announce that Oujisama recently passed the 1000+ member mark. I think this calls for a slight revamp but I must admit that I'm rather partial to the current layout and I should be working on expanding firelight and completing the Qi Li Xiang fanlisting first and foremost.

Finally updated SOYASound again, another all-Chinese music rotation, with this update includes the latest from JJ Lin Jun Jie, as well as Will Liu Geng Hong, Gary Cao Ge, Kaira Gong, and another track from DOMiNiQUE, as well as Shawn Yue and Nicholas Tse.

I also got approved for Jay's Qi Li Xiang album fanlisting, which I'll try to get started on as soon as possible as I have midterms coming up rather soon. Of course, all the fanlistings have also been updated as well.

Also, I've since added Josh's new domain, Make-Progress.NET as a sibling site (and only brother) xD

MELODEA was updated recently with new music samples of Mai's latest work, her latest single Merry Go Round and two album tracks from her second album Joyful. I've also added the scans for Mai's Melodea, EVERY, and Sunao ni Narenai singles.

I spent most of the late night/early morning working on a new layout for Nori-Nori, and finished tweaking it around noon, it was in a desperate need of a new layout anyway, and I'm fairly pleased with the result.

The new layout features promotional images of American-Born-Chinese recording artist Wang Lee Hom for his latest album 'Heroes of the World.' It's pretty simple, it's also not often I make layouts with guys on them- it's also the second layout I've made on a MAC, and none of the browsers I have on my iBook support certain CSS coding so I'm not really sure how it looks in IE, so if the scrollbars look off, my apologies, I'll fix them once I get back on my PC.

Anyway, that's all there really is, I changed the site images for Nori-Nori and Monochrome. at the main network.

So, if you have an East-Asian music rotation site, please join the rotation at Nori-Nori! :)

SOYASound has been updated and to celebrate the new year, this rotation is of only Chinese artist, so if I don't update by then (the Chinese new year) it'll still work out xD This rotation includes the latest from Wang Lee Hom, as well as tracks from A-Do, DOMiNiQUE, Anson Hu, and Ala Kuo, also requested songs by Mayday and Angela Chang.

I've also started zipping the music files as some poor people off Xanga decided it would be thrifty if they streamed the files. The playlist has also been updated with my iTunes list on my iBook, which is a much better representation of what I have, the old Winamp list was outdated.

Also, the humble, little MELODEA has also been updated, the reviews section was recently added, though only one review is available at the time, that review would be for Mai's second major single, Cherish. I've also updated the clip and changed it to Mai's latest promotional video for her upcoming single Merry Go Round, unfortunately it's not a particularly interesting PV. The tracklist for Mai's upcoming 2nd album has also been added to the discography, it's scheduled for a January 25th release.

MELODEA is also now affiliated with the Rina-Aiuchi Network, please give them a visit.

Of course, all the fanlistings have also been updated.

Just some minor things, reprise has a new affiliate and is now affiliated with the forgiveness fanlisting.

Also, RicePaper, long considered to the heart of the network, has finally received a much needed update with wallpapers of Hamasaki Ayumi (5), Amuro Namie (2), and one of Goto Maki. I also updated the links page.

I really need some more male wallpapers so I'm planning on scanning the calendar shots of Jay Chou from November Chopin, so I can make some wallpapers from that, but that's just an idea. Some more Chinese-pop wallpapers would be nice too, I'll try for more next time.

Oujisama has some new members, it's gradually approaching 800+ members.

Long time no update ^^ Well, I've been updating but I haven't noted it in this journal. reprise received a face-lift a few weeks ago with a brand new layout and is now affiliated with the Memorial Address fanlisting.

There's also a new layout up at Pirouette, which has also been converted over to the PHP Fanbase. I also added several wallpapers of M. Trudeau up for download.

I also updated MELODEA with a new rotation of Mai samples, including the title and c/w tracks off Mai's lastest single, Sunao ni narenai. Also added information regarding Mai' next single, which will be released early next year.

and finally SOYASound has been updateed with a brand new rotation of mp3s featuring Jay Chou, Hou Xuan, Mayday, Huang YiDA, Wang Lee Hom, Vivian Hsu, CHARCOAL FILTER and LOVER SOUND TRACK.

After a long break of absence, SOYASound was updated Sunday night with a brand new rotation of mp3s featuring Jay Chou, BONNIE PINK, Soler, ELLEGARDEN, Wong Guang Liang, m-flo, and Mayday.

I'm planning on making a new layout for Pirouette and reprise, the former which needs to convert over to the php database...

My computer has been returned to me with 120GBs of extra space now, so I'll be trying to update every so often, even though university has started. I did make sure to update the various fanlistings since the last update though, and am very pleased to announce that Oujisama has recently surpassed 700+ members! Boys&Girls, reprise, Pirouette, and firelight have also been updated with new members.

I'll try to update SOYASound later, but there's no guarantees ^^

In the meantime, I've rotated the tracks at MELODEA and added the scan(s) for Mai's 'Believer' single. I also updated Mai's discography, including information for her upcoming single 'Sunao ni Narenai,' which will be released on the 28th of this month, as well as information on her upcoming 2nd album, which is expected to be released October 5th.

content-wise I haven't really added anything new, although I really want to, I just don't have any ideas. When I think 'I could add computer goodies or something basic like that,' I think 'well it's pointless since I have RicePaper and more mp3s are pointless because of SOYASound, so suggestions are very welcome :D

Speaking of SOYASound, I'll try to upload it later, I have the songs picked out, just need to write the descriptions :) C'est tout, mes amis, I'm so glad I finally got it all done :)

I realized not too long ago that my fanlistings did not display properly in FireFox, so I recently fixed that problem. However, there are still some things left to be fixed, such as text colour and whatnot, the important parts can be seen now (read: navigation) for all the fanlistings, and other sites such as Nori-Nori.

I also made a small and quick update at RicePaper, with TWO new Hamasaki Ayumi wallpapers and TWO new Hoshimura Mai wallpapers. I know it's been a long time since I last updated the site but I was busy with school and now university.
